Lady Cheta Nwabuike

Cheta Nwabuike is a Certified Governance, Compliance and Sustainability Practitioner. She has over 22 years’ work experience in business management and administration, company secretarial practice, corporate governance, statutory compliance, ethics, and corporate sustainability and ESG principles across various industries. Cheta holds a B.Sc.Ed. (Hons) from the University of Lagos, and two MBAs; from the Lagos State University in which she specialized in Human Resource Management, and from the University of East London, United Kingdom in which she specialized in Management. She is currently a Doctoral candidate of Management at the Catholic University of St. Anthony of Murcia in Spain. She is Harvard Business School trained in Sustainable Business Strategy.

She had worked with Danimex Nigeria Limited, Tower Aluminium Nigeria Plc, Industrial and General Insurance Plc and Cummins Power Generation Nigeria Limited before joining CE Power Solutions Limited, where she is an Executive Director and heads the legal, ESG, and Human Resource & Admin arm of the Business and the Clean Energy Group.

She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, an associate member of the Chartered Governance Institute in the United Kingdom, a member of the Chartered Institute of Directors of Nigeria (CIoDN) and an associate member of the Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ). She also a member of the Association of Environmental Impact Assessment of Nigeria (AEIAN), International Society of Sustainability Practitioners (ISSP), International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA), Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG) and the Institute of Compliance, Nigeria.
